The Wedding of Marco and Dusty

We can definitely recommend Miriam as a civil celebrant! What we found especially valuable is that Miriam came to our home to truly get to know us. (Some other celebrants only give you a brief phone call.) We spent well over two hours together. It immediately felt comfortable and trustworthy. Miriam listens carefully and also checks whether she has understood things correctly.

Miriam also came to see us on THE day itself, just before the ceremony, to check how we were doing. We only saw each other at the altar and were incredibly nervous. Miriam took her time during the ceremony and knew exactly when we needed a moment to catch our breath. She would pick up the thread again after we had composed ourselves — for example after seeing each other for the first time or after saying our vows. Just before the ceremony I had a little trouble with my veil. Miriam was more than happy to help me sort that out as well.

Afterwards we received many compliments from our guests. Examples included: what a lovely woman, she speaks so well, she has a wonderful voice to listen to, and she told our story beautifully. We can wholeheartedly recommend Miriam!
