The Wedding of Chris and Patty

What a beautiful day we had on Friday, May 22nd! Everything was perfectly arranged at Huize Frankendael in Amsterdam, but another highlight was Miriam, our wedding officiant (BABS). Her energy, involvement, and warmth made our ceremony truly unforgettable.

From the very first moment it felt familiar. Miriam invested an enormous amount of time and care into getting to know our story. She put it into words so personally and lovingly that it fit us perfectly — who we are, what we feel, and what matters to us. With humour, emotion, and perfectly timed pauses, she guided us through the ceremony so we could catch our breath and truly enjoy every moment.

She also kept an eye on our children, who played an important role, and on our guests. Everyone felt seen and welcome. Afterwards we received nothing but glowing reactions: what a lovely voice, what a beautiful speech, what an engaged and authentic woman.

Miriam, thank you for your passion and for the way you made our day even more special. You truly hold a special place in our hearts. If you’re ever getting married: choose her without any doubt. Nobody does it better! ❤️
